Thou gav'st us courage
For five-score lifetimes!
Though planets gyrate,
We stay-unshifting.
Our ribs—stout, steadfast,
Through trial, affliction:
From our sick-bed to
Recall—thy Kingdom!
Thy chosen likeness
Was raised to heaven—
So great thy faith in
Thy chosen likeness.
Then make us sturdy
And make us worthy—
That we may shoulder
Thy bounteous mercies!
